illumine.earth Privacy Policy

At illumine.earth, your privacy and trust are paramount. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information, including data shared through our website, membership application, programs, and the illumine.earth Ecosystem hosted on Circle.
1. Information We Collect
Directly from you: Name, email, role/title, organization, responses to application questions, and any content or communications you share within the community.
Profile data: Information you choose to add, such as location, bio, industry/impact areas, expertise, engagement preferences, profile photo, and social links (all optional except where marked required).
Payment details: Payment data is collected and processed securely by Stripe. illumine.earth does not store your payment details. See Stripe’s privacy policy for more information.
Platform data: Our community is hosted by Circle.so, which processes and safeguards data on our behalf. See the Circle Privacy Policy for more details.
2. How We Use Your Information
To operate and administer membership, events, and the closed illumine.earth Ecosystem community.
To communicate with you about programs, updates, events, and community news.
To enforce our Community Agreement (confidentiality, no solicitation, safety).
To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
With service providers (e.g., Circle, Stripe) as necessary to operate the community and process payments.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
Data may be disclosed if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
4. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe; Circle’s platform maintains modern security and privacy standards.
illumine.earth administrators are required to safeguard your information and use it solely for legitimate member processing.
5. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your information at any time by contacting karimah@illumine.earth or using your member/account settings within the platform.
You may opt out of communications at any time (except those required for operations or legal purposes).
You may withdraw from the community at any time; your data will be processed/deleted as promptly as possible upon request.
6. Third-Party Providers

7. Retention & Policy Updates
We retain your data as long as your membership is active, or as required for record-keeping and compliance.
This policy may be updated; material updates will be communicated to members, and the latest version will always be posted.
